Overview

The free QQube Excel Add-In makes it easier to build QuickBooks reports and visualizations in Microsoft Excel.

It hides the complexity of database tables, relationships, and data dictionaries so you can focus on selecting fields, refreshing data, and presenting the results.

Excel Add-In functions

Select Assistant

Select and add QQube fields to an Excel report or analysis without working directly with database tables and relationships.

Templates

Save the current spreadsheet layout as a reusable QQube template.

Refresh Behavior

Control how QQube data is updated when the workbook is opened.

Financial Statement Formatting

Clean up and format reports created from Financial Summary data models and the Profit and Loss Detail data model.

Synch Monitor

Review the status of the most recent QQube synchronization process directly from Excel.

Supported Excel versions

QQube requires 64-bit Microsoft Office 2016 or later for Excel and related components.

64-bit desktop Excel is required

For Microsoft 365, install the desktop version of Excel. The online-only Microsoft 365 installation does not support the QQube Excel Add-In.

Power Pivot uses a different workflow

The Excel Add-In field-selection workflow is not used with Excel Power Pivot.

Power Pivot uses prepared QQube data models and a different reporting workflow. Review Getting Started with Power Pivot for additional information.

Expected result

Use the QQube Excel Add-In to select fields, manage templates, control refresh behavior, format financial reports, review synchronization status, and access QQube support resources directly from Excel.
