Overview
Follow the QQube implementation sequence below to establish reliable synchronization with QuickBooks Desktop.
QuickBooks Desktop does not provide a direct public database connection. QQube retrieves data through the Intuit SDK and other supported QuickBooks interfaces, so the installation environment and synchronization user must be configured correctly.
Implementation sequence

Confirm the requirements before installing QQube.
- Review the Requirements Checklist.
- Confirm that the QuickBooks file is healthy and free of corruption by reviewing QuickBooks File Integrity.
- Review How the Synch Process Works.
2. Install QQube
Choose the installation type that matches how QQube and QuickBooks will be used.
- Select the appropriate Single-User or Multi-User installation.
- For a Single-User installation, install QQube while signed in as the Windows user who will use it.
- For a Multi-User installation, use one dedicated Windows account for QQube synchronization.
- Complete the applicable installation guide.
3. Post-installation setup
Complete the initial QuickBooks and QQube setup after installation.
- Create the required QuickBooks connection users.
- Set the required QuickBooks preferences.
- Run the QQube Configuration Wizard.

After QQube is running successfully, use the QQube Configuration Tool to adjust:
- QuickBooks company files.
- Data model selections.
- Synchronization schedules and options.
