Resolve every failed entry

A later synchronization that reports Success does not mean this earlier error corrected itself. The failed entry must still be reviewed and resolved.

The synchronization log for this entry contains a message similar to the following:

Error: 1000 - There has been an internal error when processing the request.

What the Error Means

Error 1000 comes directly from the Intuit Software Development Kit. QuickBooks encountered data that it could not process or return to QQube.

This is normally associated with internal corruption in the QuickBooks company file and occurs more often in large files or files containing many years of activity. Because QQube must use the Intuit SDK to retrieve the data, QQube cannot bypass the failed request.

A QuickBooks rebuild is required

Running Verify Data alone is not sufficient for Error 1000. Rebuild the QuickBooks company file even when Verify Data reports no problems.

Resolution

Complete these steps in order.

1. Rebuild the QuickBooks Company File

Use the QuickBooks Rebuild Data utility. Complete the rebuild and resolve any problems that QuickBooks reports before continuing.

2. Clear and Reload All QQube Data

After the rebuild, open the QQube Configuration Tool and select both:

  • Run All
  • Clear all data on synch start

Start the synchronization and allow the complete reload to finish without interruption.

Review When to Clear the Database and Reload for the complete reload procedure.

Expected Result

The QuickBooks rebuild completes without unresolved problems, and the complete QQube reload finishes without another Error 1000 entry.

These two steps resolve approximately 80% of Error 1000 occurrences.

If Error 1000 Returns

If the same error returns after the rebuild and complete reload, the QuickBooks company file likely contains corruption that the normal QuickBooks utilities did not repair.

Collect the logs immediately

Do not start another QQube synchronization. The next synchronization overwrites the information required from qbsdklog.txt.

Follow Collecting QuickBooks Logs for Intuit Data Services immediately after Error 1000 appears. Preserve both the Intuit SDK log and the QQube synchronization log for the failed entry.

Submit the collected files to CLEARIFY Support. CLEARIFY Engineering can review the evidence before you contact Intuit about sending the company file to Intuit Data Services.
