Overview of the QuickBooks Job Cost Details Data Model
Job Cost Details is one of the most comprehensive and powerful analytics in QQube because of the ability to combine multiple QuickBooks report information into one analytic.
Specific Measure Notes:
- Line Job Cost Amount - Billing Rate Based = Theoretical Qty * Billing Rate for Person who performed service
- Line Job Cost Amount - Price Level Based = Theoretical Qty * Job Assigned Price Level for Item
- Line Job Cost Materials Amount = Inventory, Assembly, and Non-Inventory Items
- Line Job Cost Labor Amount = Service Items
- Line Job cost Other Amount = Other Charge Items
Time Tracking information included:
- Item Rate - based strictly upon the service item sales price
- Billing Rate - based upon item and billing rate assigned to the vendor/employee performing the job
- Price Level Rate - based upon item and price level assigned to the customer:job
Time Tracking Calculations:
- Item Rate * Qty
