Overview
The Extraction Date and "As of Dates" features control what we extract.
Dimension Dates control what we are able to display.
Most of the data models within QQube contain Calendar Fields in order to control date filters and hierarchies.
In order for transactions to display, the calendar dimension MUST cover the dates that are being extracted - or you won't be able to filter or display them.
If you have a date that is beyond what is set in the QQube Configuration Tool, it will show as an unknown date e.g. xx/xx/1980
To improve the speed of your reports and visualizations - and ensure their accuracy - it is best to keep the number of years in the QQube database to what is actually needed.
By default, during the initial Wizard Process, QQube will determine the range of the calendars as based upon:
- First year observed in the QuickBooks file.
- Two years past the last observed year in the QuickBooks file.
